TRIP DETAILS
Get picked up from your hotel at 7:30 AM for a scenic 2-hour drive along the Red River Delta on Highway 1 to Ninh Binh and Cuc Phuong National park. Covering an area of 220 square kilometers across the limestone mountain regions of Ninh Binh, Hoa Binh, and Thanh Hoa provinces, Cuc Phuong National Park is the largest and most prominent national park in Vietnam. It is home to a diverse flora and fauna system.
Upon arrival, you will take a visit to the Endangered Primate Rescue Center. Here, you will have the opportunity to see various species of monkeys that have been rescued and cared for in man-made shelters and semi-wild environments. Learn about these beautiful animals and the conservation efforts of scientists and biologists.
Nearby is the Turtle Conservation Center, where you can observe and learn about different species of turtles found in Cuc Phuong and Vietnam.
Contine with a drive along the park road to the National Park center. You will make a stop to visit the Cave of Prehistoric Man, a site containing relics of human habitation from thousands of years ago.
Lunch will be provided at a local restaurant before embarking on a trek through the jungle lasting over 2 hours.
During the 6-kilometer trek, you will encounter various tropical plants, including towering creeping plants, strangler fig trees, and ancient trees dating back thousands of years, some reaching heights of nearly one hundred meters. You will also have the chance to spot small animals and insects along the way.
Returning to the Park's center around 3:30 PM, you will have a short break before beginning your journey back to Hanoi. The trip concludes in Hanoi at 6:00 PM.
